What is the name of your show and when is it on?
White Men Can Jump, and it is on Mondays at 1 to 3 a.m.
What kind of show is it?
I tend to do hip-hop. Sometimes I have guest DJs, which make my job a lot easier so I don’t have to play any music.
What are some of your favorite styles of music and recording artists?
I listen to pretty much anything besides country. As for favorite artists, I’d have to say Jack White, Lupe Fiasco, and Deadmau5.
What brought you to WHUS?
I was recruited by a former news director who told me I could get on air immediately.
What is your favorite thing about working with WHUS?
I enjoy that they let me use all their equipment at will. When I came here, I liked music, but I didn’t know much about making music. Now I understand more of the music making process.
Who are some of your favorite WHUS personalities?
I like DJ Apocalypse. It was great to have him follow my show because I would learn more in the 15 minutes I interacted with him than I would all day (whether or not it’s true is another story).
What is your favorite sandwich?
I’d have to say probably the classic Italian combo with roasted red peppers and mozzarella.
Who is your favorite character on How I Met Your Mother?
Barney Stinson. Because he’s awesome.
If you could fist fight any celebrity, who would it be?
I would probably fight Lebron James because he didn’t sign with the Knicks.
