An interdisciplinary, collaborative work by School of Fine Arts professors Deborah Dancy, Ted Efremoff and Earl MacDonald will be premiered on Thursday, January 26th, 2012. Newly composed music by Earl MacDonald will correspond to a series of changing, projected visual images.

The performance will feature the 10-piece New Directions Ensemble:
Earl MacDonald - piano, musical director
Kris Allen - alto sax
Frank Kozyra - tenor sax
Lauren Sevian - bari sax
Jeff Holmes - lead trumpet
Josh Evans - trumpet soloist
John Clark - French horn
Sara Jacovino - trombone
Gregg August - string bass
Ben Billelo - drum set.


There will be no admission charge and the event is open to the public!  Thursday, Jan. 26th at 7:30 p.m. in UConn's New Classroom Building, Lecture Hall 101.  (Located between the Student Union and the Center for Undergraduate Education Building).
