1. How long have you been a member of WHUS and what made you decide to join the station?
I joined WHUS in June of 2011 with the Summer Semester class.. I was one of 2 care takers for my Mom who has Alzheimers disease and found I was stuck at home all the time. I wasn't makeing friends sitting inside the 4 walls of home.. One of my regular passengers is also a DJ at WHUS James talked with me about Radiothon while riding the bus one afternoon and I remember telling him that was the coolest thing I had ever heard that he was a DJ... lol he said to me "if I can do it anyone can" and he spouted off the web site, told me there was info there about the up coming class. I never write anything down except that day I wrote it on my map book and the rest is history..
2. What was the best concert you have ever been to and why?
OMG POISON... and I cant tell you why =}
3. What is the craziest thing you have ever experienced while driving a bus?
I started my bus driving career as a school bus driver.. I used to pick up this kid who had a pet turkey... yes as in Thanksgiving Turkey... LOL one morning the kid got on the bus and right up the stairs behind him came the turkey. it went all the way down the bus with the kid before the dad could jump on to grab him.. lol that turkey jumped up in the seat with the boy so was sitting there looking handsome when the Dad got all the way back there to pick him up.. Never did see that Turkey loose again after that..
