Hope you are enjoying the new web page. The Captain and I will try our best to keep you up to date on what's happening in the world of Americana / Roots music. There is a lot of great new music either recently or very soon to be released. A few of our favorites are Graham Parker's Imaginary Television, John Hiatt's The Open Road and the Drive By Truckers' The Big To Do. We took a trip on 4/2 to Boston and caught the DBT / Lucreo / Langehorn Slim show at The House of Blues. After spending 45 minutes driving in circles trying to find the place, we enjoyed an awsome night of great music. We were especially impressed with the high energy set from Langehorn Slim and his band. Not what we expected at all. Lucero was stellar and is there a better rock and roll band out there right now than The Drive By Truckers? You would be hard pressed to find one.
On another note, The Captain and I are very excited to bring to you the new Americana Army limited edition wristband. They are red, white and blue with Americana Army embossed on one side and Tangled Roots / WHUS 91.7 on the other. If you would like one , JUST TELL US!
