christine ohlman was so gracious coming on the show at 930 in the morning, not an easy thing to do for a blues musican. she's going to be at the knickerbocker cafe this saturday night and all over connecticut this summer, including the durham fair and several trips to blackeyed sally's. ben says we should be blogging more interesting stuff, so here's a question to think about.... how come banks credit about a half % interest on a savings account, nothing or almost nothing on a checking account and charge somewhere from 12% to 29.99% on your credit card account?? and why are they ALL doing that? Where's the competition?
