Here are a few photos taken at the Strawberry Park Bluegrass Festival in Preston, CT this past Friday.  The subjects:  Dailey & Vincent in their "gospel quartet" formation;" Connecticut's own Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters; the always-popular-but-especially-in-New-England Gibson Brothers; and our very own Jim Beaver on the main stage introducing an original Boston Bluegrass Boy, Peter Rowan.  While the mix of music heard over the four days of the festival had something to appeal to just about everyone, I must say that I really enjoyed music from three bands I'd never had a chance to see performing "live" before:  Kenny & Amanda Smith, Wayne Taylor & Appaloosa, and Darin & Brooke Aldridge.  Great stuff!  Be sure to get out and take in the live BG music whenever you can!
