There is a fine treat in store for all who enjoy Bluegrass music in the style of Bill Monroe this weekend when David Davis & the Warrior River Boys appear at the Firebox Restaurant this Sunday evening, June 27th.  Music begins at 5PM.  If you've not yet been to the Firebox BG series on Sunday nights, this might be a great opportunity for you to visit.  David Davis is a new member of the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, and for many years, has been performing BG of the most traditional brand.  The Firebox is located at 539 Broad Street in Hartford; for more information, call (203)650-3492.

If you'd like to know more about David Davis & the Warrior River Boys, visit them online by clicking here.  And remember, too, this band and many other fine bands will be performing in August at the Podunk Bluegrass Festival in East Hartford.
