If you have "attend great BG festival" on your holiday weekend list of things to do, let me suggest you get to Mineral Springs Family Campground in nearby (to UCONN and Storrs, that is) Stafford Springs, CT. Beginning in the evening on Friday, July 2nd, they begin their annual "Foot Stomp'n Festival." The festival runs through Sunday; the campground is located at 135 Leonard Road in Stafford Springs, and can be reached by calling (860)684-2993.
