Bluegrass Rules
It has already begun, but there are plenty of great Monday Night Jazz concerts to be seen at Bushnel Park in Hartford. The Hartford Jazz Society has booked some great jazz and latin jazz artists. It kicked off with Mixashawn, and Eric Reed Trio on July 5. But you can see from the list of artists below, that the next few Mondays at Bushnell Park will have some very great shows. I am particularly looking forward to hear Brandee Younger (harpist) Trio and Wayne Escoffery on July 26. The series concludes August 2 with UCONN's own director of jazz studies Earl MacDonald leading the New Jazz Ensemble and Greg Osby's quintet.
