Thank you everyone for the great feedback! The A Capella! show went great. I hope my playlist was diversified enough.
The last song that I played was the fully a capella version of Conte Partiro by a group called Mansound. Mansound is a group from Kiev, Ukraine. The song Conte Partiro is Italian, which means I'll Go With You. This song is better known as Time to Say Goodbye, sung by Andrea Bocelli. While it sounds like this song comes from a opera, it does not.
Another song I played was a compilation of songs from John Williams sung fully a capella. The artists, Corey Vidal and Moosebutter, use Star Wars references in the tune of several of John Williams' songs.... Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Wars, Superman, E.T., Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Indiana Jones.
So, choices for next week's show are:
a. Styx & Stones - A day dedicated to the greatness that is Styx and Rolling Stones
b. New Music - Music that has recently been sent to WHUS from various record companies
c. Bagpipes - What better way to wake up in the day than some music featuring the Scottish bagpipes
