Turkey Day is upon us and the Transfer Station is gearing up for the annual pre-Turkey Day Bash. Every year on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I play blues songs exclusively about food and give listeners the opportunity to call in with their stories about Thanksgiving near food-disasters and stories of traveling turmoil (we tend to pedal primarily in the types of disaster/turmoil that get funnier with age). I’ll probably be cooking up my famous green bean casserole to bring to dinner right there in the studio.

So if you’re stuck in the kitchen or on the road-or if you just have a good sense of humor and dig the blues; tune into WHUS at 8 PM this Wednesday.  It might not be pretty, but you will be laughing and full (of blues) when it’s all over. It’s the most fun you can have the day before Thanksgiving without one of TSA’s naked machines!

So tune into 91.7 fm or on-line Wednesday night at 8 PM for the soundtrack of your next Thanksgiving disaster.

Enjoy
