I spent the days of October 22-25, 2010 driving to and from and adventuring around Nashville, Tennessee, aka Music City. I met several aspiring musicians on my trip, who all have very interesting and unique stories as to what brought them to this city. The first person I met was Katy Bishop, a 16-year-old high school student from Arkansas who travels to Nashville frequently with her family to play music:
Next I met a musician named Gus Recker who has spent the last six years living in Tennessee but has been preparing to make the big move back to his home state of Missouri. You can watch his story here:
Lastly, I spent my Saturday night in Nashville sitting around a bonfire jamming with a young man by the name of Joel Kachel of Minnesota, who sorta looks like Ryan Gosling and whose songs I am totally in love with:
