Its that time of the year again and you know what that means? Yes, the return of the Rudolph Strut: A Stank-Ass Fonky Christmas to the airwaves of WHUS!
Every year from 10-midnight on 91.7fm and http://WHUS.org/, Santa himself visits WHUS to bring you his signature and unique version of Christmas cheer. DJ Kris Kringle, as his radio moniker is known, and his elf Mitch take a break from delivering presents to all the boys and girls around the world to bring a brand of Christmas music you've never, ever heard before (unless you've listened before to the show).
Now in its 4th annual year, the Rudolph Strut proves that even if you've been a retail counter-jockey all your life, you CANNOT possibly hate all Christmas music. The music might be weird, it might be obscene and it might be unorthodox, but one things for sure: It's got to be FONKY!
Artists range from Snoop Dogg to Tom Waits to Bigg Robb & Da Problem Solvas to Bootsy Collins to forgotten classics by Solomon Burke, Rufus Thomas and Bob Marley. Everyone who calls in during the show will receive a wonderful present courtesy of the elves at WHUS!
So at 10pm on 12/24, put the kids to bed, leave some special cookies and dump a healthy dose of brandy in the milk you leave for Santa, settle by the fireplace and tune your radio or computer to 91.7fm and http://WHUS.org/
