Thrice yearly, we offer training so that you (yeah... you) can be on the air at WHUS and share with an audience your particular brand of... well... whatever it is you have a particular brand of.  Public Affairs; Music; Talk; something-we-haven't-thought-of-yet... pretty much anything (within the bounds of legality and some cursory nodd to good taste).

The spring trainng class begins with a no-obligation informational meeting on Monday, 2/7 at 8:30 PM in Castleman 212.  Visit this link  http://maps.uconn.edu/ and enter "Castleman" in the search box for a map.

The class generally runs 9 weeks and includes discussions and demonstrations of the legal, technical, and aesthetic aspects of radio/media production.

Concurrently, there's also: hands-on studio training (including digital audio production); and on-the-air mentoring.

The training class is open to any interested individuals and is free to full-time undergraduates of the University of Connecticut's Storrs Campus ($40 to everyone else).

Contact the Training Director for more information.
