Already Morning - Carin Bartosch Edstrom - Clarinetto Con Forza - Already Morning (Redan Morgon) was premiered at the Bastad Chamber Music Festival in the summer of 2004. Carin says: It's a little story that all parents of small children can recognize. It takes place in the borderland between sleep and waking, where dreams, memories amd alarm clocks are woven together.
Ne Nehledej (Stop Searching) - Iva Bittova - self titled - Iva is a Czech avant-garde violinist, singer and composer. She began her career as an actress in the mid 1970s. but switched to playing violin and singing in the early 1980s. She started recording in 1986 and by 1990 her unique vocal and instrumental technique gained her international recognition.
Sonny's Dream - The Clydesiders - Scottish Country Roads - Choosing the tracks for a new album is always really difficult - there's five of us in the band, all with our own ideas and influences, and the Clydesiders have always avoided being stuck in any one particular folk category. IMHO, Sonny's Dream was a "no-brainer".
Plague Of Love - Katie Melua - The House - One reviewer (RH) says of "Plague of Love" "a sassy pop-rocker that sounds like Enya with backbone".
Dance Dance Dance - Lykke LI - Youth Novels - Li Lykke Timotej Zachrisson (born 18 March 1986), better known by her stage name Lykke Li is a Swedish indie singer. Her forthcoming album has been titled "Wounded Rhymes". Should be a fine follow-upo to Youth Novels.
Dumbarton's Drums - Jim Brannigan - Troubadour - Jim says: If I had to come up with the most memorable gig of my career, I'd be hard pushed to remember anything that surpassed the four summer seasons I spent playing at the "Yellow Cello" in Baddeck, Cape Breton. Just a sixty seat restaurant which pushed two hundred & fifty customers through each night and every night, a different crowd. If you look through my guest book, you will find many visitors whom I met and played for at that marvellous little venue. I miss Cape Breton in the way that I miss my true home. I love her people and the whole way of life there. Maybe some day, I'll go back to stay.
Kamehameha Waltz - Emma Veary - The Best of Emma - a beautiful singer with a beautiful voice, was a class act in Honolulu back in the ‘70s, headlining shows at the Halekulani and Royal Hawaiian Hotels. She socialized with Hollywood celebrities and was married for a time to Aku, the highest-paid disc jockey in the country.Today, the elegant Emma Veary is a respected Hawaiian musical treasure whose signature tunes include Kamehameha Waltz and E Maliu Mai.
Yes, I'm Your Angel - Yoko Ono - Double Fantasy - CD title comes from the two CD set, one being the original recordings, the other "stripped down" versions of the songs. Today is Yoko's birthday.

La Coeur de la Mer (The Heart of the Ocean) - Ron Hynes - Stealing Genius - A song about a young girl whose sailor father was lost at sea.
Chasing Rainbows - Esther O'Connor - Right Here - Esther’s new album Right Here, despite not having the backing of a major label, has been causing a stir the length and breadth of Scotland. It has already garnered a score of glowing reviews and surely is a prelude to the meteoric assent that this talented singer seems destined for.
Hey Ho - Gin Wigmore - iTunes Session EP - This 5 song EP is iTunes Australia exclusive, and features Gin's vocals with backing from the Cardinals.
Jardines de Asfalto (Gardens of Asphalt) - Sofia Rei Koutsovitis - Sube Azul - for some reason, I can't keep this CD on the shelf.
Orphan of the Storm - Black 47 - New York Town - With referencce to 9-11 this song is well written, Black 47 will be at Toad's Place in New Haven, March 16.
Lights - Ellie Goulding - An Introduction to - debuted last week, here's a more up tempo number from the advance EP.

Marble Halls - Enya - Paint The Sky With Stars - Enya herself, without the backbone (see above)?
Fog On The Tyne - Lindisfarne - Troubadours of British Folk- were a British folk/rock group form the 70s, originally called Brethren.
Dawn Ballad - Andreas Oberg - Six String Evolution - Master guitar work from the Swede's new CD.

Now Or Never - Marc Brenken Christian Kappe Quartet - Eight Short Stories - far better than the Elvis song of the same title, lovely jazz from Berlin, Germany.
Big Country - Bela Fleck/Edgar Meyer/Mike Marshall - Uncommon Ritual - Something a little unusual from three fine instrumentalists to end the show. I became acquainted with their music individualy in the 80s and together it gets even better.
