Formed by Will Killingsworth after the dissolution of Orchid, Ampere continuted the ethos and sound of Orchid by producing fast, chaotic hardcore with songs that rarely eclipsed 90 seconds.  After seven years and numerous splits not much has changed.  The songs are just as short and chaotic, but the production seems to have become much clearer though, which can probably be attributed to Killingsworth's impressive resume as a producer/technician for a number of hardcore bands over the past few years.

So what can you say about an album that has more tracks than minutes (15 tracks that clock in at about 13 minutes and 15 seconds)?  An album that has so much going on, but little to latch onto.  An album that's as cerebral as it is emotional.  After seven years of waiting, I'm at a loss of words, but thanks to the A.V. Club, the album is available for streaming, so check it out below.
