Alyssa Mark

Alyssa has been a part of the WHUS family since the Fall of 2009. She lives for live music, which is what initially attracted her to the station. Alyssa is the current host of "Go Funk Yourself!", a live broadcast that airs every Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. The show plays a variety of genres, but often highlights funk (of course), jam, electronic, classic rock, indie, jazz, and old skool. Two summers ago Alyssa had the amazing opportunity to work at Sirius XM Satellite Radio where she interned on The Grateful Dead, Jam On, and Margaritaville channels in the music programming department. This past summer she worked at Universal Music Group in the VEVO department. She is the current Jam Music Director at the station. Tune in Monday mornings to catch the show.
