Out hunting for a job one day near the UConn Campus, Nick Vasileff got a phone call from his father telling him to go to the WHUS station, as a bored DJ was offering lunch to anyone who came by. After a bit of contemplating, he made his way up to the fourth floor of the student union to find Joe Dupnik, host of Festive Intoxications, with a bologna and mayo sandwich wrapped in tin foil, beginning his love for WHUS. Formerly the Assistant Music Director, Nick now just bums around the station doing shows from time to time. He still has his key to the board office and some say he always will.
