Crystal Hayes joined WHUS as a community staff member in 2007.
Crystal programs and hosts "The RustyString Cafe':" AOR (album-oriented rock) of the 60s, 70s and early 80s that swirls around guitar-centered, lyrically moving music, including music of the Grateful Dead (and friends), Bob Dylan and the Band, Chris Whitley, Neil Young, just to name a few. She tries to highlight music that has somehow hasn't reached or drifted from air-play but shouldn't have.


Sundays, 0600 - 0900.
